After graduating in December 2024 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Interior Design from Seminole State College—an institution accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA)—I am proud to be the first generation in my family to earn a four-year college degree. Currently, I am gaining valuable real-world experience with Baptist Health, where I apply my academic training to healthcare environments and deepen my understanding of design’s role in patient well-being.
I remain actively engaged in the design community through memberships with the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). My leadership journey with ASID has included serving as Social Media Chair for the North Florida Chapter (2023–2024), Orlando Co-Chair Coordinator (2024–2025), and advancing to Communications Director for the 2025–2027 term. These roles have strengthened my skills in collaboration, outreach, and strategic communication.
In alignment with my long-term professional goals, I am preparing to pursue the WELL AP credential and plan to sit for the IDFX portion of the NCIDQ exam in 2026, while continuing to accumulate the required hours for full NCIDQ certification. These steps reflect my commitment to sustainable, wellness-centered design and continuous professional growth. Through active networking and community involvement, I continue to gain valuable insights and meaningful connections that shape my evolving journey as a designer.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and grounded. On weekends, I can often be found practicing Pilates or spending time at the dog park with my pup, Daisy.
