Amy O’Keefe, FL Registered Interior Designer, ASID, CAPS, NCIDQ is currently a Specialized Faculty Member and the Undergraduate Advisor in the Major at Florida State University. She has 15 years of experience in residential design, commercial design and project management. Amy is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a Master of Science degree in Interior Design. She joined ASID as a student member in 2001 and has continued her affiliation. She became active in Tallahassee chapter in 2003 and from 2007 until 2013, she supported the chapter as the DCC. Since that time, Amy has earned the designation of Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS).

As Professional Development Director, she hopes to bring to the chapter professional development with continuing education to maintain licensure. She will work with other professionals to offer these to our chapter. Providing professional development is important to each member of the chapter along with networking opportunities for all.

Fun Fact: She loves a good day on the golf course.
